Any one who has read the bible knows that no where in its original unpartitioned form dose it ever state the words "Jesus said I am the son of God. Nor dose it ever say that Jesus claimed to be the messiah. In cold hard fact when he was being interrogated by the Jewish high priests, Pharisee, Pilot, And Herod he always stated "Thats what you say." Never dose it say in any religious text before the death of the Nazarene carpenter that he was the son of God. In fact there was a well circulated rumor around the time that the Pharisee had paid to have Jesus' body removed from the tomb and fed to the lions.
So I ask on what notion should we believe in this myth when the said mythological figure doesn't even proclaim himself? Why should any of it even be put to notion? When all that exists is a book and a religion that was established not by a carpenter named Jesus but by twelve anger, fear, and sorrow struck men.?Why?
PS please do not insult my intelligence by simply putting faith.
~^!^~ Thank you ~^!^~

most people have never looked into the older bibles so they will not know this and will not believe it because the bible they have now does say that jesus is the son of god and that is good enought for them. nuf said on their part. the new bible is the only bibe they need. no need to look into anything else if this one tells you what you want to hear.

Well all bibles say that jesus is the son of God but none of them say that he said he was the son of God.

According to biblical scholars Jesus would have only said about 2% of what the bible has him saying. He was an uneducated son of a carpenter. Not exactly the brightest crayon in the box, and nowhere near as verbose as the bible has him being.

Very nice link. Jesus probably had more psychological disorders than Bush; and that is a whole lot!

why would the Pharisees remove Jesus body? If it stayed in the tomb then they wouldn't have to deal with his followers anymore.
look up John 4:25-26
25The woman said, "I know that Messiah" (called Christ) "is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us." 26Then Jesus declared, "I who speak to you am he."
Jesus is talking to the Samarian woman by the well. This verse is from the NIV which is translated from the Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek text.

The Pharisees didn't remove his body according to the roman logs; nobody did. His body was left on the cross until there was nothing left but bones and a few scraps of flesh, then his body was taken down and thrown into a shallow pit of lime where it decintigrated along with the remains of several other bodies as well. The total estimated time from the moment he was nailed up to the moment he was taken down was about a month to two months. This is of course according to the roman logs which there is no other log regarded as fact to oppose it.

According to the roman logs this is true and might I also point out that they have not been able to find many if any errors in them. Also lets say the fairy tale is true up to the point where they put him in the tomb. The taking of the body would be just another hit to the believers. Or that is how it was thought of any way.

I have been searching for the essay for a while, I first learned it form a friend of mine who researched this stuff and it was an essay from one of the most regarded jesus scholars in the world (who incidentally is an atheist because of his research). However, shortly after my friend showed me this essay he moved and I lost contact with him. The logs are regarded by Jesus scholars as fact though; as soon as i find either the essay or the logs I will post it immediately.

Not exactly the brightest crayon in the box, and nowhere near as verbose as the bible has him being. This is a bold assertion, and you have offered no evidence or citation of sources for it. What "biblical scholars" believe that Jesus only said 2% of what the Bible says he said?

Here is some evidence that Jesus was buried, as offered by Dr. William Lane Craig: ( Will the Real Jesus Please Stand up?, A Debate between William Lane Craig and John Dominic Crossan, edited by Paul Copan. pp. 26-27).
