Hey guys. I notice that this board lacks a section for shameless advertising, but since I've been coming here for a while I thought you would tolerate a little plug. Anyway, my husband and I have started a little t-shirt business. atheistinthecloset.com In the closet...get it? Because it's clothing. (we crack ourselves up) Some sample slogans: "I believe in cookies" "I sold my soul to Satan and all I got was this lousy T-shirt" "With soap, baptism is a good thing" And many others. New designs get added every day. (so far ,y husband and I have purchased our own shirts, but other than that you will be the first to own any of these designs). Thanks for listening. Jen

Those are great, I love them... but my wife's family and mine would disown us in a heartbeat for wearing them

Well, it's not a matter of trying to proselytize to them as they do wearing their paraphernalia... My parents would disown me and my daughter and there is a sizable amount of money that we would be out of if they did! So, I'm just being cautious with them.
As far as the wife's family goes... they never talk about religion, politics, or anything of interest to me. They discuss sports and gossip about each other. I wouldn't have the patience to deal with them on their level of understanding... so it's not "peer pressure," it's about money and being a total waste of time... Although I might get some to wear around town just to see the looks on people's faces ;D

Yeah I know how you feel snafui I cant wear any thing like that on my campus either or I will get either fined or points. As I am sure I am an eye sore to a few in the administration they would jump at the opportunity to get rid of me. Some of the student body too would love to get rid of me.
