Griffey said it best... "better late then never".
Hey everybody, I'm pieisgood [hi, pieisgood!] *gets mobbed*
I like pie, in case you are incredibly slow. Contrary to popular belief, I do not represent any boring pie like cherry or blueberry. I like Celery and Soy Sauce. Yes, in a pie. No I have never had it, but it's cool. Have you ever met a rabid aardvark that tap dances? I didn't think so. But it's cool anyways.
I, pieisgood, am officially addicted to any and all strategy games. [hi... *gets killed again, however that works*] I actually found this site through a google search for "mafia" and the mafia game came up since I love that game so much. Other games I like are Survivor, Big Brother, Mole, and especially Chess (I won a national competition when I was 10... it was quite nifty. The trophy was an inch taller then me when I was sitting down ;D). In my age group, I am 80th or so in the Country.
I have been an atheist since an extremely young age (5?) when I was first introduced to atheism and theism, and I decided atheism was much more logical.
I am currently a 12 year old student who lives in a 'burb of San Jose, California, USA, North America, the Northern hemisphere, the northwestern hemisphere, earth, the galaxy, the universe.
um.... Hi!

Ahhh - nice to know something about you, pie
My husband and his brother play mail chess ... his brother is in the UK and doesn't have a computer. He was a champion chess player at one time. I've played a game or two of on-line chess, but apparently I cheat ... lol Well, so says the friend I used to play against ... seems he didn't like my strategy of ruining his consentration ... oh well!
Anyway - good to have you here, pie ... welcome (belatedly)

Hello pieisgood. Personally I prefer pecan, but its too bloody fattening . I like the title of your intro, It reminds me of the quote, "I think therefore I am" which until this morning, I did`nt know who coined it. Seems it was a philosopher named Rene' Descartes. For some reason I always thought it was Freud.

I must say, pie ... you have quite the imagination with your signature lines!
And thanks for visiting my meagre space on the net! Muchly appreciated.
I recently (today) switched to a different GuestBook, so I transcribed (actually cut & pasted) your (and Hilly's) message to the new format. I took the liberty of adding where you found out about the site.

It is good to have you around, pieisgood. The chess success is pretty impressive. I've never been much of a player myself, but I do play a bit of Chinese chess when I can find people who know the game. (You'd probably like it -- it's a bit more open and free-wheeling on the attack, and most of the game is midgame to endgame. Less time getting things set up, more time executing strategy.) And celery and soy sauce pie? Is that something off Iron Chef?

It's nice to meet you Pieisgood. My favorite pie would have to be pumpkin. Yum! It has to be homemade, not that nasty store bought ones...

And thanks for visiting my meagre space on the net! Muchly appreciated. My pleasure. Great site... I'm probably going to print out a few of the thumbnails if you don't mind...? I've always found it funny how the sites that call themselves "humble" or "meagre" tend to be better then sites that people say is good. For example, I like your "meagre..." site, while there was another site I stumbled across that basically said something to the effect of (really, I'm not making this up): OMFG! THIS S!T3 IS RAWFLESOME! IT'LL PWNED J00 UP da WALL!!! ...and on like that. says something about the way our culture is going.... -pie

I LIEK PIE! Hi pieisgod, overly belated welcome to the board (I'm a little slow.) I must admit, it wasn't until I read this thread that I realized what your name means. My excuse is... uh... that... uh... when something is presented asalloneworditishardtouhread.Yathatsit,yeah.

Yay, Ginnsu! PIE! I say we go for a pie cult the only difference between a religion and a cult is that a religion has more members...so maybe I'm NOT an atheist! God is some Pie-in-the sky. literally. yeah,it is all one word. I like it better then pie_is_good tho, because people always call me P_i_g or just pig. -pie

pie, man I hate l33t type. If I see a site that has a l33t endorsement, I usually leave without looking around ... lol
Thanks for the kind words about the site tho. I need to do some more work on it, but I hope to improve on the content from now til well, whenever ...
I'm not sure that the modesty vs arrogance is so much a statement about our cultrue as it is a statement about the individuals. I have seen some really good websites out there, I can't help but feel that mine pales, but that is due to my own feelings about my web-designing capabilities. *shrugs*
