perhaps they look the same because due to evolution, all embryos look almost the same, but we adapt and grow differently... because maybe at one point, all life was of the same species. About what I was going to reply with...why wouldn't it imply a common ancestral line?

Thats what the assumption from the studies of embryology is... Your premise of a designer is an assumption since it is based on faith. A common ancestor is inferred by items such as homogeny of comparative morphology, DNA similarity from genetic analysis and so on. You conclusion is empirically baseless. Narcissism on top of immaturity, your mother must be proud.
