FILM PRODUCTION STATUS
BEHOLDER was almost finished with post production work when Buena Vista, the video distributor for Disney, complained about a scene of ours where the movie "SPLASH" is a central point. We won't cut out the scene as they wanted but we will have to digitally alter the "SPLASH" movie box.
The "SPLASH" movie clip is still on our website along with other movie clips.
Do you feel the scene hurts the Disney movie in anyway or does it show the absurdity of how far religious censorship groups will go?
We expect to complete Beholder this month.
FILM FESTIVALS
We were notified by the Sundance Film Festival that our film was not one of the 16 films chosen out of over 6,000 submitted although many of the programmers gave it very good marks. Unfortunately, there were some conservative voices that don't quite get that our film is not about trashing Christians or their faith, it's about the abuse of power - both religious and political.
HOWEVER -
We were chosen to debut in Park City, Utah at the same time as the Sundance Film Festival at the Freedom Cinema Festival.

GRASS ROOTS MARKETING
If you live in the Park City area and would consider helping us market the film to Sundance visitors, please send me an email. We need help passing out flyers or anything else to get the film acquisition people to cross the street from Sundance and visit our film.
We are also looking for a paid freelance publicist to work our PR for the film.
