I'll admit to being surprised by the outcome, but then again, I knew who the mafia were so my analysis isn't going to be the same as that of the players. Still, I was amazed that a few things went by without even being questioned. For example: 1 -- End of day 1. ck leaves the Maverick-wagon for no given reason, then nonbeliever convinces him back on it. Nobody questions either of them. Those were two pretty suspicious moves right there -- especially when Maverick was found to be innocent, I would have expected the town to pounce on either ck or nonbeliever for that stunt. 2 -- End of day 3. ck pretty much dares the town to vote for him. Nobody questions this. Nobody even seems to find it suspicious. 3 -- Look at the end of day 1 voting, then look at who got killed night 2. Besides the inactive Sherv, there's only one person left alive at the beginning of day 2 that wasn't on the Maverick-wagon. The mafia were killing those that didn't vote their way. Yet, nobody tried to analyze the voting patterns. The town really fell apart on this one. It'll make a good learning experience for round 2.

Well he voted for me as revenge, i wanted him not to vote for me, that simeple Yes, it will. ;D But Yaw did you tell ck and jocopo that both of them where mafia, in the pm of roles?

Yes, I informed all mafia members who was in their group, told them to discuss amongst themselves via IM who they wanted to kill, and IM me their choice. I actually had to say later on that only one of them needed to send along their target -- I was getting nearly identical IMs from both. Oh, and I also reminded them of the "no talking via IM during the daytime" rule in the initial role message.

Hilly, of course I forgive you!! I'm just suprised more of you didn't vote for me on day 1 right after I voted for Mav, it was rather moronic of me to say "I'm out for revenge" i had a bad day when i wrote that. Anyway that probably explains why no one decided to go after nonny or ck later, they were all attacking me instead. I had a big old stroke of bad luck, with Hilly dying and everything.

While we are playing "Coulda Woulda" ... I was debating whether to vote for jacopo in the end (instead of nonbeliever), to see what would transpire ... I was quite convinced that there were two mafia players and that they were nonbeliever and jacopo

Good game. On Day 1, I decided I would try to get the game going so I jumped on whatever I could to accuse someone. Too bad I didn't focus more on ck than I did. And, during Night 1, I almost decided to save AuntieSocial instead of Arutha. I wonder how the game would have changed if I went with that vote. Ohhh i feel special am i that much a mafia target that u saved me night one? lol

Actually, when the random number generator came up Maverick as doc, I had to hope REALLY hard that the town wouldn't lose their doc night one. I figured there was a really good chance Maverick would be the first kill, which would have really sucked for the game -- the doc would have been taken out without even having an opportunity to impact play. I could take the day 1 lynch, because at least that way the doc got played, and was taken out on the merits of the player.
Sometimes the bad part about truly random assignments is that they can give the mod fits. ;D
