I sent private messages to a couple of people about this topic but I thought it might be good to make the suggestion/get input here. Sometimes, I've come across posts in which people quote an outside source. Though they acknowledge the author and/or textual source, the posts I'm mentioning don't somehow set off the quote (by either using quotation marks or this board's quote tags).
I would like to suggest that, when quoting someone else, we make an attempt to clearly seperate the quote from the rest of the post. This will help other posters clearly identify the quote (and perhaps look for it in the source that was referenced).
In any event, I know that these posters did not deliberately attempt to plagarize. In the posts I read, each poster made references to the author of the source and I appreciate that. I am only asking that we better clarify these quotes when we use them. Sound like a reasonable request? Let me know what you think.

I definately think this is a reasonable request.
For those who may not know how to use the quote flags, the code is as follows:
[quote]QUOTED TEXT[/quote]
Obviously, replace "QUOTED TEXT" with your quote.

Sounds perfectly reasonable. We should of course make allowances for those new to the message board, but that almost goes without saying.
