I agree with the church's position that evolution did not happen, but this was exactly my point. Evolution is impossible apart from an intelligent mind, because of all the specified complexity and information that is required to get from a simple cell to a human. So either (1) evolution was accomplished by a God or (2) evolution didn't happen at all, God directly created fully-functional organisms. I happen to believe the second, because that's what the Bible teaches, but either way, God exists!
Evolution is a fact. You only have to look at viruses to see that. look at the animals we create. The many different dogs, cats, and different types of plants that we eat. We made corn the way it is today. that is the intelligence design behind what we make. You say evolution happened earlier but now you say you support the churches stance that it is not true. Do you know what you believe or just say what sounds best at the time? You even say that evolution does happen through god. You can not have it 2 different ways.
As far as the universe expanding again. I will restate that is all we know. It is completely plausible that when the universe collapses on itself that would reset all laws. Then nothing would be measurable past the point that the universe started to expand again.
We don’t know anything but that the universe is expanding. to say more is just guessing.
As far as your mathematical logical reason goes if god doesn’t need a creator why would the universe need a creator. Simple fact is if something complex needs a creator and god is more complex then the universe then your logic dictates that god needed to be created.
