Unvote Hilly, Vote nonbelieverPie's convinced me, I trust Yaw and nonbeliever hasn't defended himself. I wouldn't go off my evidence; my evidence is lack of evidence. This bandwagon is to pressure, not to lynch yet. NEVER trust anybody. Yaw could be scum, for all we know, and if he is, it's stupid to trust him. IF he's not, then he has good intentions, but he could very easily be wrong. A confirmed innocent does not = always right.

I trust everyone has the sense not to put more than four votes on at this time. And hey, we can always have the game stall when we get to that point. Yaw, are you becoming paranoid?

Paranoid, Hilly? Not at all. The first sentence you quoted was mostly a message to the new players. I do trust they are intelligent, but that doesn't mean they'll have the game's conventions down immediately. Better to post a superfluous warning like that than to have a quick lynch of a townie because of newbieness. And the second sentence was my natural cynicism. ck -- Please make sure everyone's here before setting a deadline. Six to lynch with 8 players isn't particularly fair. Pie is quite right on both counts. Make sure you don't trust anyone too much, as you never know who could be scum. And I am developing a bit of an eye for scum -- lynched scum the first day in my two minis on the mafiascum site. I'm no Jeep, but I want to make this game three for three. ;D Anyway, I await nonbeliever's defense. (Who is female, by the way.)

Yaw, I visited www.mafiascum.net/index.html but I didn't find the minigame. Could you post the URL? Requesting 6 out of 8 is a bit unrealistic, I'm eager to lynch Giuseppe. How about majority rule, rounding up for odd numbers?

But Giuseppe isn't in this game. Actually, I probably shouldn't have mentioned the other games. (But you can find them by going to the forum on that site and looking around Little Italy...) And the issue is that there are actually 10 players in this game, but we're not sure where two of them have headed off to. So there are 8 active players...and because we need 50% + 1 to lynch, that means 6. Which is why inactives suck in smaller games.

How about only counting the active people? If some inactives become active, add them to the total number.
"But Giuseppe isn't in this game." Wops, you're right.

[off topic] Ck can you try e-mail the inactive poeple to ask them if they are coming soon?[/off topic]
I know I haven't posted much about the game thus far I realize, mostly because there hasn't been much to say.
You are voting for me for lack of evidence to my innocence. Well I have, sorry to say, been preoccupied, but still trying to keep up with the game. I can also say from my exprience moding the last game, that bandwagoning for reasons other then your own is never good. I am not making excuses or sob stories. I am trying to give my all into the game, but that might not be enough. So I will be trying to play better, or at least stick to the topic.
BaalShemRa- First off thanks for being a replacment. Secondly I'm female as yaw said. And I was wondering what exactly it was that you are convinced of, and why?

And I am developing a bit of an eye for scum -- lynched scum the first day in my two minis on the mafiascum site. I'm no Jeep, but I want to make this game three for three. ;D Indeed. Beware the Yaw. He's a pretty awesome scum-hunter (no MeMe, but still pretty darn good), and a good logician. That's why I think we need to play it safe and get him doc protection overnight. Annnywaaays.... Non, my evidence isn't about lack of evidence of your innocence; until something big happens (such as.... night) we all have a lack of innocent evidence. My problem is that your responses to when we do accuse you is "I'm innocent, what do you want me to say?" Any defense, even a crappy one, is better then that. That tells us nothing. ...so it's basically the evasive lack of defenses that is making me vote for you, not lack of interest in the game. You're doing a much better job with the game then some people *COUGHmuddog,r8thir,AcrikuCOUGH*. -pie

We have two replacements? Woohoo! ;D Who are they? Who are they replacing? When are they getting here?
When I get back to my place I will re-read the thread again. With the stall, it breaks the continuity of the game, so I have to go back to pick up the thread. We'll see if anything new pops out at me.
To quote DP, "Quiet is supicious, because scum not posting means scum not making mistakes." In this case, scum not posting anything of substance means scum not making mistakes. Similar argument. That, combined with trying to latch on to me with the so-called defense of my two votes and overall tentativeness and unwillingness to do what we have to do as town to get scum (that is, actually have more than one person vote someone at the same time) make me think nonbeliever's scummy. And those are actual accusations about her behaviour, not "lack of evidence of her innocence", as she is claiming.

Could pieisgood and Yaw be scum. Is pieisgood trying to influence our good doctor to draw a save away from a townie? FOS pieisgood. Nice to see Auntiesocial on board

Yay! AuntieSocial's playing! ;D
That was an odd attack, Hilly. I think Pieisgood and I have mutual respect for each other's playing abilities, but neither of us is willing to state categorically that the other isn't scum. The most I've done is to tentatively say I don't think Pie is scum...but as with all opinions in this game that's open to revision if I see something worth noticing. If Pie is scum, he's really good at it in this game. At any rate, stating that the doc should protect the best players is common sense. It sort of looks like you're trying to dig up dirt that isn't there.
I did my read-through. I still think nonbeliever's been acting strangely, though it disturbs me that on the read-through I became less convinced she's evil. That doesn't mean I think she shouldn't be bandwagoned for information, though. There are too many inconsistencies there to ignore -- I'm just less sure they were done intentionally than I was before.
Arutha strikes me as scummy...but Arutha always strikes me as scummy and I don't know why. I can't back up that statement with anything more than gut, though, and I want more than that if I'm actually going to vote for someone.
BaalShemRa is probably just getting out newbieness. But there is some strange behaviour there that I think is worth looking into on day 2. (Including putting a third vote on me for no reason...but I think that was just amusement.)
And I never really noticed Hilly until that recent attack, which has me really looking in his direction.

Yes, Hilly, Yaw summed it up nicely.
I have a great respect for Yaw as a player; if you've ever seen him in action he's pretty awesome. He fooled everybody last game on these forums, and is an expert scum-hunter on mafiascum.
There are some newbies in this game. I want to spell everything out the best I can; being too obvious is better then a waisted protection.
Yay, Auntiesocial!!!!
Let us know what you think as soon as you're ready.
