In the enlightenment there were philosophers who created a system that explains Gods existence as being outside of the universe and that he comes to understand himself though man. In other words God necessitates Mans existence not off of a whim but becuase it was nessesary in order for him to be fully God. Now I would be the last one to ask any one to belive that rubish, but it brings me to an interesting idea. The idea is based upon the existence of God so bare with me. What if God did exist but it is not exactly like the theists belive. Outside of this reality Time means nothing so in order to understand God one must throw out all things that have a ending factor. ( I will show why God must have a begining in my next post.) This of cpurse includes time. What if it is Man who becomes God. In the theorys of these philosophers, though the existence of man God came to understand reality and all that jazz. So what if instead it was that though his existence Man came to understand infinitude and after attaining the abillity to prolong his existence to an infinit amount then came to know all of existence. Then Man would presumably be capable of steping oustide of this existence and coming to the understanding of a new reality. Kinda like the Indian (as in shiva) religions where there are many different types of existences and this is just one of them. Any one ever think about this?
