Recently I have made a posting on different "proofs" of God by theologins. Out of curiousity I got to wondering suppose they were right and there is an uncaused cause? Wouldnt such a thing be best depicted as a force of Nature? If it is so why is there devotion to a force of nature? Any ideas guys?

It would be best depicted as 'that which is not caused'.

Would you class the big bang as a 'force of nature'? What does 'force of nature' mean? My point is there's nothing more to say about an 'uncaused cause' than that it is uncaused. What more is there to say about it?

Ok I think I get your point. I would class the big bang as a force of nature. And the reason I brought up the question is that those who belive in the uncaused cause belive that this very thing is God. That is an all powerful all knowing deity whom runs every thing and dose every thing. I am looking for intelegent ideas that compleatly discredit this idea.

Lets say that two planes in a 12th dimension hit each other. This would cause the big bang to happen in between them. This would be the force of nature you are talking about. this is what caused the big bang to happen. There is nothing to worship, is there? Its like worshiping what causes storms. A warm front and a cold front hits together and causes a storm. Where is god in this? this stuff just happens. Now “they” may say that god is in control of the planes that are in the 12th dimension but that is pushing god farther away again. People use to think that god was on top of high mountains when we got to the top of the mountain we found out that god is above the clouds. When we god above that we noticed that the stars must be the windows of heaven. When we found out that the stars are the same thing as our sun. then we discovered that god must be outside our existence altogether. All the time we are pushing god away from us more and more. Now if the universe didn’t have to have a cause I think we are worshiping nothing.
