November was yet another exciting month for religion in the news. There were holidays and other notable commemorations. As usual, there was great excitement about where to post the first ten laws of an ancient tribe of Asians. A Muslim was jailed for life for following ancient laws in a modern nation. A judge was convicted for upholding his oath to a god. Kids had fun watching the dead smoking cigarettes and playing guitar. The faithful started to get ready for the end of the world. Genetic engineering gave rise to new sorts of creatures and evolution led to the death of a bunch of high school students. Once again, a common pocket watch was used to prove the existence of a one-and-only god, but whether it’s a one-piece god or a three-piece god is still unknown. LyricalReckoner, I'm sorry to read that this may be your last issue of Religion in the News. I do, however, understand your reasons.
Thank you for your time & effort in this endeavour. I would like to take this opportunity to encourage you to add articles to the Atheist News Archive if you find some that you think would be of interest to the members of this board. The first post in the forum details the requirements for the articles, and there is a growing collection that you may enjoy reading.
Welcome to the new board. I hope you will continue to participate, even if you do ultimately decide not to write the Religion in the News anymore.

LyricalReckoner, I'm sorry to read that this may be your last issue of Religion in the News. I do, however, understand your reasons. Thanks for the good words. Much appreciated. Here's the deal: either I continue to do Religion in the News, or I just focus on magazine articles. I'd rather to both, but it's a question of Time v. Money. A fair number of people have said that they'd be willing to pay to support Religion in the News, so . . . who knows? Maybe it will survive. I hope so. Thanks again.
