Maverick's right, this does deserve a new place. Split from the pledge of allegiance thread.

What exactly has GWB does to upset yall so much?
Oh, you want a list? How about:
Withdrawing from the nuclear proliferation treaty
Withdrawing from the Kyoto Protocol
Refusing to sign on to the Landmine treaty.
Attacking Afghanistan when bin Laden was offered up for extradition.
Inventing rationales to attack Iraq, including presenting a known forgery to the UN as "evidence".
Actually attacking and occupying Iraq, a country unable to import pencils due to UN sanctions.
Using cluster bombs in this attack on populated areas.
Inventing a classification of people, "illegal combatants", that does not exist under international law, and sequestering them in Guantanamo Bay in blatant disregard of the Geneva Conventions.
Flying members of the bin Laden family out of America without questioning on September 13, 2001, when all other planes in the country were grounded.
Cutting back funds to emergency workers in New York that are required to fix communications systems that were insufficient on 9-11.
Throwing up every roadblock possible to an independent inquiry on 9-11, then caving to appoint Henry Kissinger, the man who orchestrated the coup that brought in murderous dictator Pinochet in Chile over an elected government, as its head.
Supporting an attempted coup in Venezuela over an elected government.
Supporting through inaction a coup in Haiti, legitimizing a violent opposition that included known war criminals.
And that's all I can remember off the top of my head. Doesn't get into what's wrong with the Patriot Act, or his tax cuts...that would take more than just a listing.
As for the election, it was fixed by Jeb Bush. Check out the reports by Greg Palast for details. Florida removed thousands of people from the election rolls illegally. There were reports of insufficient ballots given out in inner city areas (which are more likely to vote Democrat). The punch machines were also fixed in the inner cities -- normally, if you made a mistake the machine would spit back out your ballot so you could correct it. In the inner cities, the machines simply ate bad ballots. Despite it all, Gore still won the state by a few hundred votes, after all the votes were recounted (which is legally required when an election is that close).
What I find absolutely ironic is that in 2000 there was also an election in Cote d'Ivoire, in which General Robert Guei fixed the results so that he would win. The people of that country rose up and threw him out. It's truly amazing to me that a West African country known for slavery in its coffee plantations was for one shining moment a better defender of democracy than the USA.
