If you would like to read a text on atheism or evolution (from a text available online, a book, etc), or similar topics, for 15 to 30 minutes, and have a microphone and can make mp3s, contact us ! We'd be glad to add some readings on the air. If you have other ideas, or even have a show that you'd like to have on the station, don't hesitate to contact us either. That's a wonderful offer, Franc! Thanks. I hope some of our members will take you up on it (in fact, I might just do so myself ... hmmmm what shall I read??)

Well, you can read whatever you want, as long as we can check it out... You can read classic texts, from a book, an article... lots of choices. It just has to be relevant and interesting in some way.

Francois- What would you think of my doing a reading from my book (see the post just below your original)?

How about a series of recordings from Thus Spake Zarathustra? I've been trying to think of something that I can read ... and that's what I came up with (for now).

I started playing with my voice-recording/mp3-making program the other night (I was recording "An Atheist Manifesto" by Joseph Lewis), but I discovered that I have a tinny sound since we moved the computers to a larger room in the basement. I'm now thinking of playing with a track-overlaying program to place my voice recording over a soft classic track. That might disguise the tinny sound & incessant hum from the computer equipment in this room. I'll let you know if my experiments yield anything worth airing. The material is great (you can read the full text on-line, I have a link in the Book Review section).
