Actually sorry, the game is over. The mafia wins. YOu may now ask each other questions, and discuss where the town went wrong. I will leave it is to the mafia to reviel themselves. So you can still guess who they are. Good dame everyone don't forget to sign-up for mafia III

Well, let me be the first to say...pieisgood was right. Go scum! ;D
I'll leave it to my colleagues to reveal themselves.
I have a few questions for pieisgood, though, because I am very curious. (And I'm open to questions too.)
1 - How did you know I was evil? And if so, why didn't you vote for me?
2 - How did you guess we were going to kill AuntieSocial night 1?
3 - Why didn't you roleclaim at the end?

Ah! I had my suspicions about you Yaw. In fact, if the game continued, I would have voted for you. Is Hilly scum? I had suspicions about him as well.

Oh yeah, I was a sibling too. Actually, that was going to be my last ditch defense. I was going to claim sibling and townie, betting that the town would buy two townies being sibs and would avoid lynching me to stop the double-kill. Of course, I couldn't have gotten away with it for more than one night with the doc dead... I'll let Hilly speak for himself.

I feel very guilty for blaming Pieisgood. He seemed so scummy. Gah!

wow, there were 3 scum?
Yaw-
1. The first round I was pretty convinced you were innocent, I was even planning on protecting you. and ck was guilty. After ck turned up innocent, it was extremely surprised and I looked back through the thread. I saw that you were trying to look citizenly by extending the day, unvoting temporarily, etc. and used that as your main defense. In previous games, I've seen people act citizenly in every way that doesn't involve screwing up their bandwagoning game. The reason I didn't vote for you is that I either figured my whole logic was right (you weren't inquisitor, were you?), therefore muddog was a smarter lynch, or my logic was wrong and you weren't scum at all. Should muddog have been lynched and turned up guilty, I would have been gunning for you all the way.
2. Once more, previous experience. AuntieSocial was quiet, but did have a say in everything. She was the perfect person who was a force for the town, but wasn't likely to be lynched and so would be a hinderance, as the mafia would have to keep her to the end... unless they killed her.
3. I really, desperately wanted to, but it's agaisnt the rules.
My predictions for the other scum: Muddog, Hilly.

Is Hilly scum? I had suspicions about him as well. No, I was a innocent townie! I regret I cannot say the same for my Sibling Yaw. I too had suspicions about him but to have him lynched would have spelt the end for me as well. A good game and thanks to nonbeliever for moderating!

No, I wasn't Inquisitor. (The maf inquisitor being a sibling? That would be insane!) 1 - Actually, my playing style ended up caught in the middle. I was really trying to play both sides, not because I thought it would work, but because the first game went so badly that I felt I had to push for bandwagonning, defenses, analyzing posts, etc. just to advance the game to the point where the maf wouldn't run over the town every game. Guess that over time it backfired -- seems that if there was a day 3 I would have hung. This was my first game, but my playing style was sort of artificial. 2 - I am impressed. We figured she seemed the most innocent, and that we could pin something on every other player. (Well, I made a half-hearted argument for killing off AWOL-jacopo7531 to help the mod, or possibly one other player, but this was the consensus.) 3 - We have to overturn that one for the next game, eh? (Seriously, if on the block I would have claimed sibling and ignored the rule. Don't know how that would have gone, though.)

Yes, Nonbeliever, you did a great job. Ah, so you are an innocent Hilly? Actually, I think it makes sense that you and Yaw are siblings as I remember a post when Yaw defended you. Well, I'm not sure if it's "defending" but I did cast suspicion on you and Yaw deflected it. But his reasonings made sense. Oh, is Griffey scum? Well, she'll answer but I had suspicions about her. Another question, why is that grin in place of the d in defending up there? That's strange, I can't get rid of it.

Put a space between the " and the d or else it is an emoticon.

Wow... I guess Griffey then? Had I been alive another night, I was debating between protecting Arutha and Auntie again. Who would you mafia have killed? Yes, great job modding. Very fun game. Kalena- I don't know how to get rid of the mysterious d/;D. It happens to me all over these boards. Sometimes at school during brunch or lunch we play mafia. It's a little different because reading people plays a part (we've all gotten pretty good), but the better part is that we introduce weird roles and watch the claiming go. Our standard setup is: 7 people, 2 mafia, 2 cops (one sane, one insane), 1 doctor, 1 citizen, 1 newsperson (or sometimes citizen, it depends on what we feel like). The way you work those special roles: There are 2 cops, they only know that they are a cop but not sane or insane. The mod chooses one randomly to be that (but does not tell the person). Each night, the cop sends the name of somebody to the mod, and the mod will tell that person "innocent" or "guilty" depending on which that person is. For the insane cop, if they investigate and innocent they get "guilty" results, a guilty gives them "innocent" results. THe mafia will claim cop, prove people innocent to get them on their side... it's crazy, but hilariously fun. THe newsperson: Each night, they have a choice to a) hide in the newsroom (can't be killed by the mafia that night) or b) see if somebody is home (a citizen is home, a special role like mafia, doctor, cop is not). Some times we do assasins instead of mafia- assasins are like 1-man mafia teams. The 2 assasins will alternate kills. They are NOT on a team together. They win if they are the last one standing. Just some random thoughts. Some other cool roles can be found at www.mafiascum.net roles page. -pie
